Accreditations

At Premier, lots of our products come with trusted certifications that prove they’ve been made responsibly for people and for the planet.

With so many ecolabels out there, it can be tricky to know what each one stands for. That’s why we’ve pulled together this simple guide to help you understand the logos you see and feel confident choosing products that match your values.

We’ve also included a few memberships, pledges, and codes of conduct. While not formal accreditations, they still show a real commitment to raising standards and doing business the right way.

Sustainability & Environmental Standards

B-Corp

B-Corp Certification is awarded by B-Lab, a global non-profit organisation that measures and verifies the impact of businesses across governance, workers, communities, customers, and the environment. It is regarded as one of the most rigorous and respected sustainability accreditations worldwide.

To achieve certification, a business must:

  • Demonstrate high performance by achieving a minimum score of 80 on the B-Impact Assessment and passing a detailed risk review.

  • Make a legal commitment by amending its governance structure to ensure accountability to all stakeholders, not just shareholders.

  • Provide transparency by publishing assessment results and maintaining a publicly accessible profile on the B-Lab website.

Certification is not permanent, all B-Corps are required to re-certify every three years to demonstrate ongoing improvement. Premier has been a certified B-Corp since 2023, reflecting our long-term commitment to balancing profit with purpose and operating to the highest standards of social and environmental responsibility

Carbon Neutral

Carbon neutrality is achieved when an organisation balances its carbon emissions with an equivalent amount that is reduced or offset elsewhere. At Premier, our current certification applies to Scopes 1 and 2  covering the direct fuel we consume and the energy we use across our operations.

We actively measure these emissions, implement reduction strategies, and offset any remaining impact through independently verified schemes. This certification represents an important step in our sustainability journey and demonstrates our commitment to managing and mitigating our operational footprint responsibly.
