Our PLATINUM EcoVadis rating gives customers confidence that when we say we are committed to responsible sourcing and ethical practices, theres hard data to back it up. Why are people asking for ECOVADIS?

At Premier, we know ethical, environmental, labor, and human rights practices aren’t just “big company” issues—they matter to every trading partner. That’s why organizations are turning to sustainable procurement: to reduce risks, protect reputation, lower costs, and meet growing customer expectations.

The challenge is that few businesses have the resources to manage sustainability at scale. That’s where EcoVadis comes in the global standard for assessing and monitoring sustainability performance while driving continuous improvement.

We’ve received an EcoVadis assessment request so partners can see how Premier approaches sustainability. For us, it’s not just about ticking boxes it’s about building stronger partnerships and delivering merchandise solutions our customers can be proud of.

EcoVadis medals and badges recognize eligible companies that have completed the EcoVadis assessment process, and compared to other assessed companies, have demonstrated a strong management system that addresses sustainability criteria, as outlined in the EcoVadis methodology. A medal or badge is only applicable to the assessed entity and not to any other affiliated entity such as a parent or sister company, site, or subsidiary.
